Fátima had witnessed many cases of domestic violence in her community but felt helpless in being able to address this issue. That’s when she joined Edjuda’s gender empowerment program, which taught her about women’s rights and how to speak out against gender-based violence. Fátima now leads a support group for survivors and works towards creating a safer community for all.
