At Edjuda Foundation, we are dedicated to making a difference in Mozambique by ensuring that education and job-oriented training are accessible to all, regardless of financial background.
Digital Learning Platform
Our first major initiative in 2020 was the launch of a digital platform dedicated to online learning. This platform was designed to provide free access to quality education, enabling students of all levels—regardless of location or financial background—to continue their learning journey without barriers. Recognizing the need to reach underserved communities with limited internet access, we have since expanded our efforts to include offline programs. This blended approach allows us to reach a broader audience and create a more meaningful, long-lasting educational impact across Mozambique.
Our Values
Education for All
We believe that education is a fundamental human right. That’s why we strive to provide free, quality education to all levels, from primary to tertiary, to those who cannot afford it. With the help of our passionate and dedicated teachers, we aim to bridge the education gap and equip our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed.
Technical Training
Understanding that not everyone can afford traditional education, we offer technical training programs to equip individuals with practical and marketable skills. These programs include carpentry, mechanics, sewing, and other vocational courses aimed at providing our students with sustainable employment opportunities.
Livelihood Support
Education and training go hand in hand with economic development. That’s why we offer livelihood support programs to help sustain the communities we work in. Through initiatives such as community farming and small business training, we aim to uplift and empower individuals to become self-sufficient.
Student and Community Health
We believe that a healthy community is a thriving community. We provide health education and access to basic healthcare services to students and their families, as well as the wider community. Our focus is on promoting holistic wellness and preventive care through various health and hygiene programs.
Job-Oriented Training
Job readiness is crucial in today’s competitive world. Our specialized program focuses on equipping individuals with the skills needed to secure employment. From resume building to interview skills, we provide our students with the necessary tools to excel in their chosen career paths.
Community Impact
Student and Community Health
Our “Community Health” program organizes health and hygiene workshops, provides access to medical care, and promotes healthy living practices in the community. By prioritizing community health, we are creating a healthier and stronger generation.
Scholarships for Deserving Students
Through our “Education for All” program, we provide support and resources to schools in remote and disadvantaged areas, as well as scholarships for deserving students. Our goal is to bridge the education gap and empower the youth to reach their full potential.
Partnerships with Local Businesses
In our “Job-Oriented Training” program, we partner with local businesses to provide training and apprenticeship opportunities to individuals in need. This not only helps individuals gain employment but also contributes to the economic development of Mozambique.
