Who We Are

Inspiring Dreams, Building Futures, Changing Lives Together

Welcome to the Edjuda Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to promoting education, technical training, community livelihood, and healthcare in Mozambique.

Edjuda
Founded in 2020

We started with a strong digital presence, creating an online learning platform to bridge the education gap. Today, our focus has expanded to offline programs, aiming to reach a wider audience and make a deeper impact. As we grow, we have plans to extend our reach to other countries in Africa. Our journey continues with a strong commitment to inclusive, accessible, and quality education—combining the power of technology with on-the-ground initiatives to drive lasting change.

Our Mission

Our mission at Edjuda Foundation is to provide educational opportunities at all levels, especially for those who cannot afford them. We believe that education is one of the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty and create lasting change. By empowering individuals through access to learning, we help them build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities. Our efforts focus on making quality education inclusive and accessible to all, regardless of their background or financial status. Through our programs, we aim to nurture potential, inspire growth, and drive positive impact across society—one student at a time.

Our Programs

Technical Training

In line with our mission, we offer various technical training programs for individuals interested in acquiring new skills and improving their employability. These programs are designed to equip people with the necessary knowledge and abilities to secure better job opportunities and contribute to the development of their families and society.

Community Development

At Edjuda Foundation, we understand the importance of community development in creating a sustainable future. Our initiatives focus on improving the livelihoods of communities in Mozambique. From providing access to clean water and sanitation to promoting sustainable agricultural practices, we are committed to creating a better environment for all.

Healthcare

We also prioritize the healthcare needs of our community. Our programs focus on providing free health services, promoting healthy habits, and educating people on preventative measures to ensure a healthier population. We strive to enhance the overall well-being of the communities we serve.

Our Vision

Our vision is to expand our impact beyond Mozambique, reaching other countries in Africa. We are open to collaborations with like-minded institutions and organizations, believing that by joining hands, we can achieve more and make a greater impact on the lives of those we serve.

Fátima had witnessed many cases of domestic violence in her community but felt helpless in being able to address this issue. That's when she joined Edjuda's gender empowerment program, which taught her about women's rights and how to speak out against gender-based violence. Fátima now leads a support group for survivors and works towards creating a safer community for all.
